Our Approach to COVID-19

Like all businesses we are currently faced with unprecedented risks to our customers, employees and day-to-day workflows. We have implemented new guidelines on how to be more safe in this situation. For example, no hand shaking, staying at least 1.5m away and hand sanitiser everywhere!! 

Cowley Electrical Services is still open for business but we have added precautions (and extra hand sanitiser) in place to help keep our customers and team safe.

We have introduced new SWMS COVID-19 Protocols as well as a CES COVID-19 Company Policy Statement and have added new COVID-19 tool box talks and additional PPE for our workers. 

Our newly introduced COVID-19 safe working practices include:

• All CES team members check for symptoms of COVID-19 before starting each day. 
• CES work vehicles equipped with hand washing stations and PPE for our workers including P2 masks, disposable gloves, hand sanitiser and shoe disinfectant spray.
• CES team members adhering to additional cleaning and hygiene protocols.
• Calling our customers to announce our arrival to check that your household is free of COVID-19 symptoms and to understand whether you are in isolation or are high-risk.
• Limiting face to face interactions with all customers.

To help us, we ask you to please do the following:

• Advise us if you or a member of your household are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms such as a sore throat, cough or temperature.
• Inform us if you are in isolation, have recently returned from overseas or have been in close contact with someone who has recently returned from overseas.
• Respect social distancing measures - please no hand shakes and keep a minimum 1.5 metres away from our team members.

These measures strike the right balance between delivering our essential services while protecting our customers, team and community.
